Maroon colored robe. On the nose, aromas of ripe blackberry & plum are prevalent with added touches of cherry, & aromatic rosemary herbs. Evincing definite characters of barrel aging, this powerful Rioja manifests added coffee & cocoa notes along with vestiges of new leather. On the palate, it is long, persistent, & voluminous revealing a vibrant acid presence complemented by subtle, subdued tannins.
