Chambord Liqueur is a 16.5% abv raspberry liqueur modelled after a liqueur produced in the Loire Valley of France during the late 17th century when King Louis XIV visited the Château de Chambord. The Chambord product brand has been owned and produced by the Brown-Forman Corporation since 2006.
Chambord is made from red and black raspberries, Madagascar vanilla, Moroccan citrus peel, honey and cognac.
Tasting Notes On the nose, its concentrated berry aroma is reminiscent of fruit leather. Its flavor, however, is more muted: It's slightly sweet, with a touch of black cherry lingering beneath berry-vanilla notes. It would add a nice fruity sweetness to cocktails, or even compliment chocolate flavors well."
