Tasting Notes
Roasted root veg, smoke, bacon, tar, and burnt chocolate fill this simple red, thankfully short, and stubby on the finish. Ripe, plush, sweet black, and red fruit flush the soft palate, while tobacco ash lingers. Old school, and a blunt, oversimplified showing at that.
Our wine experts think this South African Syrah wine would be a match made in heaven with beef, lamb, game (deer, venison), and poultry. Bon appétit!
